Standing over the Florida coast and scenic highway A1A, is a 4-story 250 key dual brand Courtyard by Marriott and Springhill Suites. The project’s site was the primary driver of design as it influenced building form to maximize hotel guestroom views from both brands to the ocean beyond. The hotel’s parking is partially submerged underground as to not disrupt the protected marsh dunes to the project’s south. A central port cochere, courtyard, and pool deck tie the two hotel brands together, creating a unique and cohesive dual brand experience. On the exterior, local Victorian Floridian homes inspired the project’s Florida Cracker detailing and material palette.
